The Hopeful Planet is a non-profit, Christian-based charity organization that is committed to delivering aid and quality material donations for children in countries in crisis around our globe. Our mission is to bring hope and dreams to the hearts of children aged 1 month to16 years of age living with poverty, famine, natural disaster or war.

There are many ways you can reach out and touch the life of a child in need.  Through our organization, you can get involved with one of our many programs and directly impact the life of a child in need.

Emergency Response - Sponsor or supply items for care packages that are delivered to children and their families directly affected by natural disaster.

Shoebox Dreams - Sponsor or supply a Christmas Shoebox packed to the brim with small toys, school supplies, crafts, personal care items & more!

Cuddles For A Cause - Do your part and insure that no child goes to bed lonely or afraid by sponsoring or supplying a plush cuddle toy for a child in need.

Goals Of Hope - Sponsor or supply recreational equipment for a child, school or orphanage in an impoverished nation.

Classroom In A Box - Sponsor a box of supplies to outfit a classroom of 18 in an impoverished region. Basic and premium boxes are available.

Disaster In Haiti

Our focus in Haiti was the assemblance and distribution of Emergency Aid Care Packs to the families and children affected by the powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake that affected over 3,000,000 million people, and left over 200,000 people injured or dead and over 250,000 people homeless.   We responded to this need by sending supplies geared towards human need and comfort.  Our main mission in response to this tragedy is to address the needs of children up to 16 years of age and their families.  

The need in Haiti will be ongoing for years to come and we remain committed to helping as many families as possible as they rebuild their lives. 



We are happy to report that Crossroads Missions have partnered with us on our project to provide aid to Haiti and will be looking after the shipping and distribution of our supplies to the children and familes directly affected by this terrible disaster.   Our deep felt thanks go out to the Missions Team at Crossroads for their help on this project and the good work they are doing to help the people of Haiti.

At present, we are accepting both financial and material donations including new and gently used children's summer clothing (hats, shorts, t-shirts, sleepwear, new underwear (with tags please), etc) flipflops / sandals, personal care items (including bar soap, small towels/facecloths, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes, hair shampoo, feminine hygiene products, etc) and small new soft plush animals/cuddle toys/dolls (for comfort).  Other supplies such as infant care supplies, antibacterial wipes or cleanser, first aid kits, bandaging, medical ointment (Polysporin, etc), candles, matches, ground sheets, tarps, tents and refillable water bottles will also be distributed to family groups. 

Right now, it doesn't a lot of money to impact the victims of this tragic disaster.  We are appealing to the public for their assistance.  If you are unable to provide financial assistance but are able to donate some children's clothing or other supplies, we are equally grateful and appreciative.

In addition to responding to natural disasters, we also work year round on our Winter / Christmas donation projects located in the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.   We are now accepting financial donations as well as quality, new materials including  toys, school supplies, books, basic clothing and personal hygiene items.

"Cuddles For A Cause"

We believe that every child living with the fears and struggles associated with poverty, natural disaster, famine and war should have a plush toy to cuddle and love.  We pledge to do what we can to insure that soft plush animals and dolls are delivered to as many children as possible.   Our mission is to deliver new or very gently used plush animals and dolls to children up to 16 years of age.

Its easy to get involved!  Simply make a donation of a plush animal or doll (under 16" in size is preferred) or donate funds so that we can purchase some on your behalf! Our cuddle toys are reasonably priced so you'll find it affordable to send one or several cuddles to a deserving child.  Please donate today!
